I went on a download craze when i reinstalled r4 and installed some stuff i didnt have before, and i think slipstream was one of them. I haven't been able to find a picture of what slipstream does though...
is this slipstream? do i need to do a fresh install to get my original artwork files back and then replace them with thingauge again?
I can't fly with this, my monitor is 4 feet away from my face and it's too hard to see if i'm at 50% <whatever> or 10% <whatever>.

Thats the software hud. Turn it off in the options. (I think it's called the software hud at least... I never use it /doh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="doh.gif" />)

How can you not
love the software HUD? It's so much simpler and there's no @*#$ to get in the way.

so you have to look away from where you're shooting to see ammo/fuel/hull/shield, instead of having them in your peripheral vision?
+ thingauge stops them getting in the way

I made a colour version of the software HUD making the info meters stand out better. The shield and hull meters flash with colours when you are being hit making it even more noticeable. This was inspired from Azaron's version but I made the words clearer to read.
