The Zone games are fun but it is impossible to ally due to incompetent pilots. People always shoot each other. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":lol:" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

One of my guys on the Zone Game team has a possible fix for that and would like permission to use your core to modify.

This goes for FACTIONS, CORE and anything else.

Nothing is going to be changed with the Factions. Just the way we ally is going to be changed. Each game will have to be catered to...


So basically, can I use GoD and DN core for this experiment?

IMO impossible (specialy with DN, because of Nix) with the current IGC format, there are not enought hull types and damage modifiers...

Maybe not pkk, since factions are decided before hand, 4 teams allied could make it work.

Don't worry about shield classes, just make separate hull classes for each alliance. It'll be like a semi ff-on game where you can hurt, but not kill your allies.
OR
Ignore nix and giga, and you can probably do the whole thing with the available armor classes.

No, he wouldn't, Nix would be left in, but no one could use it most of the time.

Actually nix would still be possible: 2 nix teams vs 2 other factions. It's just that for every zone game, they will have to create a new core with the appropriated changes to support that week's factions/alliances. Similar to what was done for AW4

You guys don't know the concept that I'm doing. It's very possible, and wouldn't require and armor classes than are currently needed.

I'll post the way I'm diong it later, so long as Ozzy lets me (Ozzy - Please see the other thread in setup)

Andon, not meaning to rock your boat. I've been toying with a core idea that is very similar to what you guys are wanting, I think our ways may be pretty close.
