Anyone ever have every texture on the screen go yellow and have the fps drop to a snail's pace? I can fix the problem in game by switching the max texture size setting back and forth. Im using nvidias latest beta drivers, so im thinking it may have something to do with those.

I have green flickering in BF2, but only because I overclocked my video card a bit... DId you do something similar?

i have in the past, but nothing major...when it first happened i dropped the clock speed back to normal and it happened again the next day...Its weird because alleg is far from graphically intensive and its the only game that this has happened to me in...its gotta be some driver problem

I use Alleg for stress testing my OC. It might not be a graphically great game, but it sure as hell stresses whatever monster of a system it's run on.

I'm getting this now too. It's happened the last three times in a row I've run Alleg, after 10-15 minutes of playing. Really, really sucks.
I recently updated my video drivers, so it's likely related to that. I'd hate to have to revert, but we'll see just how desperate I get. :/
I may also try out the graphics alpha and see if that helps.

Yes, it is a driver problem. nVidia decided to break compatibility with old games with their drivers from this side of 2008. You have two choices - revert to the old driver (which will make the 8800GT and up impossible to use) or use the DX9 alpha.
