but...

I just finished a game in which a returning vet with a 3 ( or a damn fine imitation of one ) commed during prime time. The player's name was Rhow and as far as I could tell, being on the opposing side, he did wonderful. I'll save any justification for why I didn't fly he's side and just admit I'm sick and tired of being cannon fodder. Our comm, OutLawStar. was a gentlemen and it started almost dead even but as I predicted by the end gaaaah, it was almost 2-1.

Why post the obvious?

First:
I feel I might owe Rhow an apology for asking for the call out on the Helo numbers every five minutes since it apparent to me now a word spoken would have been more appropriate rather then a bludgeoning of the facts over all. My call, my bad but in my defense (and those I asked to participate) after five minutes I asked that we stop and it did. A "lesson" crappily done, is all I can say.

Second:
The obvious bit about stacking < insert here> AND an additional word. I get the why waste my time losing for the sake of some guy to comm argument but truthfully with all of these returning vets many really KNOW how to do it but are rusty, and tbt Ive seen several if given a chance could hold there own against 80% of the community. Really do we NEED endless Rock Star comm games to have a great time or rather competent comms and fair teams?

I'm hoping for nothing, expect nothing, nor think nothing will come of it other then this: Rhow sticks around and we gain another compotent comm, and the pie-in-the-sky wish and just maybe the games unstack themselves a bit again.

Rhow did the mistakes that rusty comms always makes(like forgetting that miners are stupid), but did fine overall. I also would have no troubles to play again for him.

They really are dumb. Got used to other RTS games where the worker units have a little bit better AI.

I'm not really concerned about the stacking. Who would want to join a team, that by all appearances will lose? We did lose, anyway, but whether that's because of an extreme stack or my own fault nobody will really know.

What I do know, is that those who joined my team in spite of all that are players I'd love to fly with again.
