Okay um pook or whoever, i was not in the newbie server just now....i was in another server....im sorry but this banning is bull@#(! :| even if it is for an hour....unban me please

Yes, you were on the newb server. You were automatically banned by the system. Don't play on there, kthxbai.

It's an automatic ban. It shows as applied by pook, but it's actually the system. "SR#06: Veteran on Newbie Server (ASGS Autoban)"

If it happened, you were there. If you really feel ASGS made a mistake, pm BlackViper, he'll be able to confirm for which game you got banned.

But realistically, it'll likely time out before anyone gets a chance to look at it. Since it's 2:40 PM CDT, most Western folks are at work and such.

i was in the second Planet DN Server when the ban happened....errm....other than the fact blue team was losing im sorta glad it happened.....then again...im not....first server i went on WAS newbie then i quickly logged back out and go on the 2nd Planet DN server....had i known i'da gotten auto banned for JUST being in the lobby i'd have avoided it quickly thanx in advance guys /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

You would have had to have joined the newbie game, not just sit in the lobby. But if you accidentally joined, and then immediately quit, the ban would have been applied when the newbie game ended (which was probably while you were in the PlanetDN game).

Sounds like it was just bad luck. The autoban is a touch sensitive, but that's why it's only for an hour.

Players are banned from the system once the newb server game ends. The names are taken from the recent games page, meaning that you must JOIN a game in order to get banned. Lobby sitting is discouraged though.

true? how about people who sit there to answer newbie questions? i do that when the other games are boring

That's fine, just remember if you accidentally join a team, you'll get banned.
