um.. you list a USRobotics modem... that's a dial-up modem, no? Yet you show a DSL connection. I just want to clarify that you're actually connecting through the DSL, correct?
ok... first thing for you to try is to defragment your hard drive. If your hard drive is fragmented, Alleg can take a long time to load up all the graphics, sounds, etc. it needs. While it's doing that, it's also trying to connect to the server, and it may time out. Defragging allows for a quicker load of those files.
If that doesn't help, try connecting to a server that has EU in the name. (It'll be something like "EU DN 4.60"). The EU servers, as you can probably figure out, are in Europe. Being from Greece, your ping times to the EU servers should be better than to the North American ones. This should help you connect quicker and beat the "time-out clock".
Please let us know how it goes. There's other things we can try, too.

Um...he's got Vista Home Premium listed as his OS. mike_haros, I'm afraid you're in the same boat as a bunch of other people with a vista version other than Vista Business. There seems to be some kind of problems associated with it, some people can get it to work, but others can't :\ I'd suggest you search the forums for "vista" and "connection" and try out the solutions offered in those threads, they might work out for you.

Also you might want to give the beta a try
http://www.freeallegiance.org/forums/index...t=0&start=0
If it is timing out connecting to the server the beta allows more time for the initial connection. It also takes ASGS out of the equation as the beta does not need it (at the moment). If the beta works fine that gives us a little more info.
