Just poking about a bit, and happened on this for the TF devel path. I just have a question, I'm sure this doesn't need to be fixed...

I just had a quick look through that to provide you an answer. It's pretty simple. Since TF dont actually research an upgraded shipyard, Noir attached the other factions Devels in with TF. So say your IC, you got a HTT and you capture a technoflux Drydock (flag4). The way you suggested you wouldnt get access to cruisers or anything, just light class. The way noir has it because they are linked in, you would gain access to cruisers and all relevant tech below that.

This indicates to me that you can't have a TF ship yard (dry) without a basic ship yard to research Upgrade Medium Class at. Is this correct?
Also, to further poke at me, TF doesn't even get a light class devel, which indicates TF cannot research up to a SY (dry) without a capture. I checked this with TEK's tech tree, and that also shows that TF only gets a basic SY. As I never comm, I can't even guess at if this is correct, but it appears TF only gets a basic SY?

Your correct in one thing, TF dont get a light class upgrade devel. TF get Light Class Free with Shipyard.
They only research Flagships 1 - 4.
I really don't want to start sifting my way through ICE, but looking at it, 137 def for most medium capital ships, also you might want to note, when you research flagship 2, It's just like researching medium class. Flagship 1 is for all intents and purposes a frigate which should technically be medium class but thats not the way TF shipyard works It counts there "frigate" in light class except there is a developement requirement on the flagship1. It's not free like corvettes. Flagship 2 is classed as a devastator which technically heavy class, researching flagship 2, does not upgrade the shipyard, unlike all other heavy class upgrades. Researching Flagship3 Yields TF's Drydock - Flagship 3 is Classed as a cruiser which is heavy class which is drydock required. Then of course flagship 4 is TF's battleship.
