BlackViper mentioned in a topic titled "Comand ONE game this week, That is ONE game, not a TWO!"

QUOTE Miners will run as soon as they eye a piloted enemy ship if there are no friendly piloted ships in sector. This is what allows "Miner Bouncing" to occur. A lone scout can stall your economy for an entire game if he sits in the sector with your refinery doing nothing more than sit still close enough to be eyed, you never give your miners new orders, and no one on your team goes in there. He doesn't have to fire a single shot to do this.
He said "Miner Bouncing" !!
What is Miner Bouncing ??
In the next paragraph after this one he said :
QUOTE Interesting thing about miners... they aren't just stupid, they're cowardly. You knock a miner's shields down and eventually it'll run. Funny part being, it might not run until after you've already been podded and it's been nanned back to full, but it will run. And if the team controlling that miner doesn't dock it, it'll keep trying to run on a regular basis until it gets to dock at a real base (i.e. not just offload helium at a refinery). Like I said, stupid and cowardly -- it thinks if it's hull has been damaged once, it's still damaged and will be damaged again. So if you damage a miner out in the middle of his back sectors with just more refineries near by, you'll force them to keep paying attention to that miner until they get it to dock. Further, it'll run much sooner on seeing an enemy, to the point of running whenever one enters even if there are defenders and you aren't actually shooting it. It's like every bit of damage it takes increases a "Cowardice" slider on it, and it occasionally does a random roll to see if it runs or not. In fact, that's probably exactly how it works. Best part being, the more they nan it, the higher thaty cowardice meter gets. I've seen full-hull miners in a cloud of int defenders run from a lone scout spotted 9k away because of this. It's hilarious, unless you're the comm it's happening to. Don't be that comm.
So is the second paragraph is the answer for my question ??
