can we make kills using minlayer's mines goto the person who dropped them? and can we put turrets on them

schwartz, right now.. hawkwood (EoR creator) is essentially MIA... there have been a couple members in RT that have listed changes for when he comes back, i'll mention this to them.

I don't think you (or anyone) can get kills for dropped caltrops or towers without a code change.

As for adding turrets, it's a constructor, not a cap sized gunship. If you want to defend it use nanites and escorts.

Just make a minelayer-equivalent item which a scout deploys like a normal probe/mine, but has the same effects as a minelayer. Same thing for towers (think rix combat pods on steroids).

Actually, if you could duplicate a caltrop in the prox templatte, you would get the kills. Same for reworking towers as rix pods.
