Id just like to ask, is their even one ship (non cap) that can match a GS, I keep trying but I keep losing. Gs are so powerful, in fact I think their a bit too powerful.
Wile Stags can somewhat Fight a GS, its still pretty tough, Vans get torn down and most any other ship just becomes a plaything.
I think the GS is just too powerful O.o

Depends on the gunners really, but yeah, a fully gunned GS will rip everything out of the skies.

Hvy Int, hands down in 90% of possible situations. The remaining 10% just requires some luck.

Problem is, you are 1 person, trying to take out 3 people. It should be damn hard.
Get 2 friends that have some coordination.

While in a 1v1 head on the gs may win over a lot of ships, it lacks the versatility of actually good craft such as an int or fig. If you take into account the gunships power is found mostly in the skycaps, that can take up 3people, now take a fully turreted gs vs 3 mg2 ints or df2/gatt 2 enh figs. No contest, ints and figs should win hands down unless they severly overboost(or $#@! up in that manner, sadly that is the case in far too many scenarios).
The gunship falls into the retard tech category, the only reason people get it, is because the retards can't fly anything else on a competant level. Thanks for labling yourself as such, I will remember if I ever need to pick a team.

It's quite easy to kill even fully turreted GS with Bios Adv Fighter (if you have gat 2 and dumb 2 at least). I did that with other factions fighters if it was possible to sneak attack, or hide behind rocks when engaging. If youre in enh/adv fig loaded with dis 2/3 and dumbs and manage to avoid skycaps untill 1k than you probably gonna kill GS.

I prefer to not take gunners on my gs. Dunno, guess I feel that if I do I then need to acheive something that is 3x better than normal.
But there are times when I wished I had them, like one time when I had to decamp an aleph then tried to camp the teleport. For some reason wave after wave of noobs and voobs kept ripping and attacking me before I could camp the tele properly. I went from 0 to a 40+ kb before they got me, but, well - have you ever seen a bios gs die to a swarm of giga scouts? It was like dying from $#@!ing mosquito bites. And not the good malaria kind either.

Interceptor, heavy interceptor, stealth fighter, advanced stealth fighter, advanced fighter, mustang, vanguard, any capship.
If it's 1v1, probably I can take out a gunship with any ship in the game, including basic scout. What's more, I can outrun it with any ship in the game.
