I've been booted from my team two days in a row (Phantomone says three days..but I'm pretty sure its just two). How can I prevent this from happening a third/fourth time? I just don't quite understand what I'm doing wrong..

Well, follow orders, don't be somewhere else when a miner/con/base dies... be where it happens. That's the short version.

well, the first kick was by MadAccountant. he claimd a miner died in the sector I was passing through to defend a constructor. teh second was today by spidey. he says its because I said "Need better fighters" three times in a row.

Spam is Bad

If you get booted, you might inquire of the comm as to why you got booted (preferably you ask this once the game is over). You may not be satisfied with the answer, or agree that it was a bootable offense in the comm's mind, but at least you'd know what the perceived grievance was. IF you spam anything, it should be need interceptors.... fighters... pfft

Don't forget you can sign back in under another name (you are allowed 3 total nicknames), and join either team. Being booted doesn't prevent you from rejoining the same team under a different name.

I even apologized after finally getting a straight answer. Twice. >.>

Speaking in general terms:

As a commander, there is nothing more annoying than a newbie demanding better ships when I have gotten advanced tech. It's not my fault you can't tell the $#@!ing difference between a Light Interceptor and an Advanced Fighter when you're in the "Ship Selection" screen.

Not saying that that was the case for you Goodguy, I just felt like bitching about it anyway.

My fav is the newbs that says need better fighters after hvy ints just come up. They are lucky there is boot protection.
