Erm... wow, I don't remember if the last time I posted, these buttons were here... /unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":unsure:" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

Anyway, I know you know I'm not an uber vet or a long long long time player, but I think nerfing the Dis3 was wrong.

Why? Because the retard gun as some call it made the sup adv fighters have a chance against the (now the most played) expansion, today I was in a kinda big game on the 4.6 core and adv fig vs hvy ints was over kill for the ints, I don't know why you nerfed it, because when a sup got the dis3 it wasn't like "ZOMG, the got dis3, we are screwed now" it just put kinda even the ships, AND EVEN THEN, I think the hvy int should win.

Well, those are my 2 cents, if dis3 stays like this people will go expansion 99% of the time.

PS. That's what I think, in the game today my comm wanted to go EXP but there was just 2 U rocks, one at the enemy home and one near the enemy home, and now for the 1 million dollar question:

Guess what tech did they go?

This belongs in the rant section so I will rate it as a rant.

+2 Points for ranting because of self-suckage.
+1 Point for requesting a change that would be highly unpopular
+1 Point for making up a statistic based on very little data (Expansion will always be played)
+1 Point for being ignorant of what was really happening in the game (The enemy commander was Aarm, He had omnitech)

His first tech was expansion, I got podded many times because I was trying to kill ints in your final camp, I wasn't caring a lot then, self-suckage? you should watch the games I play, Im usually in the top 10, and I'd like to see you in an adv fig, versus a hvy int on 4.6, and no, you can't run with your KB when your hull is at 99%.

EDIT. This is not a rant fool, it clearly says my opinion, btw, you're not funny with those points, pretty lame actually.

I'm not sure how the removal of dis3 aoe will affect sups play rate.

First off, this is only a reversion to the way dis3 was in the original game. Dis3 still does the same amount of damage it always did, but there is no longer splash damage, so you just have to make sure of your aim.
Also, notice that he perked gattling guns so that they are more accurate: the bullets only spread half as far apart, so you should be able to land a lot more shots, especially at range.

Also if you are fighting ints and don't have dumb3 yet, I'd try seeker 2 if your team found it. Although it does less damage, it tracks a lot better and has longer range. Some people find it more useful, but not everyone.

DN sup still retains a lot of special perks for sup over the Original MS core. XRM's missles and fig bombers (as well as the general change to tp probes in the alleg code), still give sup a lot of optiions to end the game.

If the nerf does seem too harsh (too early to tell), then I think a 5-10% dmg boost would be nice to try.

edit: oh and I agree, rant ranking has always seemed pointless to me.

I liked the AoE, we'll see how the changes go, I'd prefer a lesser AoE then 0450 but still to have some, ah well. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Gats always had better damage vs ints than dis anyway. The AoE just made it easier (or harder) to aim. With the perk on the accuracy, I think this is pretty even.

Actually diss 3 dose more damage to a int that gatt 3 because diss 3 is designed for inflicting full damage on shields and medium to heavy armor , armor witch interceptors have .
Now about the Aoe i don't mine that it's gone but instead of the Aoe can u give the 2 nd lead indicator to fighter's that mount diss 3 ?
That should make everyone happy no Aoe but better aim for those who still use diss 3

Dis 3 = 32 damage per second to med hull
Gatt3 = 37.5 damage per second to med hull

Dis3 does more damage in an individual shot, but gatt3 has a higher firing rate to overcome it.
