READ BEFORE VOTING PLZ.

By "Allegiance on Xbox360" I mean: uptodate graphics, sounds and user interface but with current Allegiance 'feelings' (same physics and gameplay). Integrated XboxLive voice system (speaker/headphone) and an optionnal Xbox keyboard supported.

Try to vote 'seriously' plz and spread the word around about this poll. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

nb: monthly subscription means with the free silver membership of Live

Thanks

Not sure what you can and can't comment on but is your question about the monthly fee in addition to the $50 Live fee or just your comment on having to pay that? If the former it sounds like another money grab by our friends at M$oft as I don't see this being isolated to a possible Allegiance game.

I do have a 360, would likely play it on Live..but I wouldn't pay more than my existing Live account.

i think it would be cool if i had a 360. one of those legendary dogfights on surround sound (if oyou have it) and HD.
but when the sector overloads and sets off the alarm on surround sound....omg that would suck.

but no, it prob wont work. most people either are aces with a mouse, joystick or trackball, or with a controller. you'll confuse everyone!
plus controls. we'd have to cut them down to the layout of the buttons, and if you say (r2+a+b) most people will quit. too hard to remember. sorry /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Monthly fee in the question is not related to M$oft , whatever your subscription level to Live (gold or the 'free' silver). It's just a "hypothetical" fee for servers. I dont know if M$oft can redistribute a part of the gold fee to companies/individuals based on usage ratio of their game(s). So whatever, gold Live fee will be the 'max' but it could be less with the "free silver Live" plus an alleg only fee.

Honestly, if you're going to use XNA you might as well build it for PC first since the conversion between the two is trivial (and in fact, soon to be non existent).

I can't decide whether I'm going to start laughing at you now or in a couple weeks KG /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Interesting, if it means getting rid of lag and unsupervised carebears I will plunk down 700 bucks for a super xbox and 3 grand for a nice plasma to play allegiance on. The wife will love it. Does xbox live really cost 50 bucks a month, jesus people pay that? Thats like 10 lap dances from the hot girls or 50 lap dances from Orion.

Hmm this explains a lot. Orion has deep rooted fears of Elephanthead "docking" properly with him and translated those fears into GT making it difficult for any alleg player to dock with his bases.

getting rid of lag? no...if you have satelite then you're $#@!ed, upload is a problem for most, and then for dial up, you cut maybe 1/4 of current players that use dial up or poor satelite. just by xbox live.
once again, the controls would be impossible. it Is IMPOSSIBLE to config the controls

I play allegiance because I can play it on my 7 yr old computer (which I got for free) with dial-up. So there's no way I'd fork out hundreds of dollars for a console for a game.

I don't want fancy graphics or anything like that; I just want to hear that satisfying "bloo" sound as a ship or base explodes. I don't get much lag, only on certain occassions; so I don't mind that either.
