Does anyone know a good program for designing and a good website for hosting signatures?

As you can see from mine I cant seem to get the picture larger no matter what I do, I use paint and Powerpoint to do my clips at the mo but they look crap in comparison to some of the others iv seen.

Any sugg?

1) the max sig size is 400*100, yours is 640*445 HUGE! the FAO boards have reduced it in size, and your lucky they have, you would get flamed for having a sig that big
your sig un-shrunk:

2) you have found image shack, that works well enough for sigs /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

3) i'm wrong on point 1, the board just cuts it off, when you upload something to image shack you get a load of options, you chose the one that displays a thumbnail and has a link to a page with the full image. dont use that, use the bottom link saying direct link to image, and put it in img tags like this

Code: Select all

Cheers Madp, the only reason my sig would be so big at the moment is because i took the resizing off it to try and make it bigger, I usually let image shack resize it before I put it in. Cant believe I didn't notice that thanks.

Still does anyone have a good design program. IE; Madp your sig is see through what program could i use for that?

GIMP is probably the best, free option available. It takes some getting used to but it's a very powerful application. There're lots of tutorials out there too.

...it's really scary. Madpeople can now shrink and unshrink things. My nether regions are quivering in dread.
