I have no changed any configuration on ym computer or router. I have the proper ports fowarded and such. I have played on this exact configuration for many years. It all of a sudden does not work. I have tried to repair ASGS, rebooted my computer, router, and modem.... still nothing. All other internet applications work normally. I have also turned off the firewalls in Windows and the router and still does not work.

R3 doesn't need the ports to be forwarded anymore. Try removing the rules and logging in again.

Nope didnt work. Completely took out my router and went directly to CPU. Still Failed to connect when trying to join a server.

Download this file, extract it and run the DXsetup.exe. Make sure that you download the correct language for your system.

Well something is blocking the ports if I read your situation correctly. Any chance you have one of those funky on-the-motherboard firewalls that got turned on accidentally? (Check your BIOS settings for anything suspicious.)

It's also possible that your ISP is blocking the ports... less likely unless you're behind a university/corporate/organisation router or something.

Just to clarify - you can get to the lobby, but can't connect to a server?

I tired it and it didn't work, but I finally fixed it. I just rolled back my system to before I installed JAVA Runtime Environment. Also this fixed my Windows Vista System so I can play on it too now!
