I can get into the lobby, but when I try to join a game it just sits there at "joining mission". I waited in excess of 5 minutes for it to go... This happened on planet and FTX (I think thats the other one...)

Is your HDD active (as in reading files) when this happens? Usually, once you're into the lobby, there should be no problem getting into a server. Alleg does load all of its artwork as its joining a server. Do you have any highres texture packs installed?

HDD? What is that? I don't have any graphics changed from the original allegiance except for TheBored Special aimer. I will put back the original and try it.

Aha... I'm stupid... How do I tell if my hard drive is reading files? I am not a computer genius, as you can surely tell...

Two ways:
Some computers have a small LED that will flash as hard drives are accessed. Usually located on the front of the machine.
Bend over and listen /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> , you usually can hear the hard drive clicking away.

Well, it starts out active, and then it goes down to its normal amount of noise.

Joeseph, just to be clear, you have no issues joining ThalServe, just those other two?
