Is there an R3 feature list somewhere? I noticed there's a flush/autobalance button, but the autobalance isn't implimented in this patch, is it?

Thanks for all the hard work devs! /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" /> /ninja.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":ninja:" border="0" alt="ninja.gif" />

I told you that they would figure it out /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

clever little users.

But remember that if the ranks aren't accurate then the balancing can't be effective.

and the total of individual ranks doesn't account for the "play as a team" factor. Some peeps play better with certain other peeps at times.

the idea is to get closer skill levels to increase the possibility of "team" vs "team".

It will take a while for us to learn how to get this to work in a polished manner. This is cut 1. The primer paint needs to be sanded for the next coat.

So are you saying autobalance is implimented in this patch?

Yes, I beleive it is working, although no one is using it right now because ranks are funky due to the issue Pook wrote about on the front page. One thing that is missing from the R3 notes is that when imbalance is set on 'Auto' it does TWO things. If you hit the randomize button while imbalance is set on 'Auto' it distributes non AFK players to each team according to rank creating two even teams. A second application (the one I like more) is that it balances people joining after launch. This prevents everyone from clicking AFK and then just stacking after the launch.

Unfortunately you are wrong about that, which brings me to my next suggestion. Restrict the button so that it can only be used once every 3 minutes are so. A couple people have already pushed the button 5 or 6 times in a row, and needless to say it's really, really aggravating. Also, I don't know if this was meant to be or not, but I had a game on imbalance of 1 count last night
