This can be seen in the faz training mission. In the rar there are 2 files: ss27 which is the top of the base and ss27inside which is the triangular thing underneath the base. the second one is shared between ic bases.

Feedback needed.

PS it's supposed to be battle damaged.

I think I like it /wub.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":iluv:" border="0" alt="wub.gif" />

though I think the part under the base lookes a little strange with the big X thing on top of rectangular panels. It's not that I dont like the X thing, I think the panels should be different down there. Can you make panels that *look* like they were designed to be on that part of the base and fit inside the X part?

It looks great...
Uhm... but i already made many of the IC bases.. So u might wanna look at the Other Faction that are not started.
View my Blog to see the result so far.

We got still got Bios, Rix that needs new textures.

Diversity is allways good.
If u like i can upload my textures so you can use that as a basis.

I got a Inside dock texture u might wanna use.

Guess its my own fault.. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blush:" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> I should have posted a long time ago.

PS: dont stop if ur on a roll. keep going. We can allways have Multiple choice.

Yes i just played around and then i liked it so i finished it. I don't like the bottom part either so if someone make one that would be great. I'll just make the tops if i can.

Why not put something like the coloured crates from the original texture behind the X at the bottom? Lovely texture apart from that, great rust /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

edit: omg omg omg...
TEXTURES AS A FUNCTION OF TIME SINCE THE BASE WAS BUILT!!!!

0 min: base is made, uses zappers ic gar texture with no rust
30 min: still using zappers, but 30 min marks the start of the change period
30 - 60 min: a transition, zappers clean texture fades out asn vald13's rusty one fades in
60 min: change complete, base uses vald13's texture
60 min+: base continues to use vald13's texture

normal "clean" texture cold go in /textures
if a model has a time based transition texture, that goes in /texturesT2 (T2 for Texture2 or Time2), if there isnt a texture in there, the texture does not change over time.

same could apply to ships, but their change time would be shorter.

though, you would need to make sure the time texture doesn't add something like the cross thing when the first one doesnt have it, it would look weird having a cross thing fade in.

also, we could bring back damage overlays as a function of hull damage (duh)

Looking again I'm not too keen on the texture you've wrapped around the middle of the upper base (if that's not clear I'll post a pic).

I'd go back to something cool and swirly like the original tex.

Yes i'll change that, thanks, the other bases use a normal texture around the middle now.

there are some problems i cant fix like the texture on the bottom of the bay and on the side of it. It seems there is something wrong with the .mdl Same for IC exp.They don't look too bad but the texture is stretched unevenly. Sup is fine cause it has different doors.
