Earth never blew up in the allegiance storyline.
Or so PKK's site says..:

Thats the only mention of earth's fate in his timeline.
In fact, I can't seem to find anything that says earth is destroyed.
Maybe I am missing something, but I can't find anything on pkk or the academy that directly states that earth is destroyed.

Or maybe I have it wrong?
I was almsot entirely sure that the planet was supposed to have blown up in the story. Is this not so?

I went looking for the vid on my hdd, and if I hadn't been looking for it I would have found it. The more I think about it, though, I think you're right, jess.
