Right... im working on a faction called the Vaughn, a group of outlaws who use an advanced nuclear based tech...
Im looking to cut down the time it takes to get this faction into the game and so im looking for a helping hand in modelling... right now im working on the ships but im hoping to get someone who can work on the bases... doesnt have to be anything too fancy so shouldnt be too much of a job unless you want it to be. Rakinite and Crono are trying their hand at texturing my ships right now but im still accepting help in the texturing area aswell.
Are you a modeller?
Bases are much much tougher to make than ships, Just so you know. Look at GT.

ummm... as for what im wanting... well i havent got any solid ideas planned out for the bases yet so if you want you can come up with your own ideas... mainly my ideas were asteroids with stuff added onto them such as something that looked like a nuclear reactor but that might be a bit too complicated, id be just as happy with bases like GT or TF really

Nuke plant stuck on a rock for a gar, not to hard, textureing would be the nasty--

Just a Quick hack job to show a general Idea, Red arrows are exits, the Green is the entrance. I asume exits can be on any plane, but entrences work best if level and fairly large. I'm hopeing the system will randomly asign exits when pilots launch. but if not, I have a few that I could swap for an entrance.
As for scale I'm asuming about 40-50% larger then a standard rock for the rock size, they would hollow most of it out and enlarge it. so even though it looks like a chunk is sliced out the base is still about the same size as any other gar.

X axis, Showing the entrance
Reverse X, the main exit, which could be an entrance if need be.
Y axis, the top view
Revers Y, bottoms up.
Z axis, the front.
The reverse Z axis would be pointless, all you could see is round and a bit of cooling tower.
