Hello. I just discovered this game. WHen I try to install it it gives me a prompt sayingQUOTE Free Allegiance requires the Microsoft .NET framework version 1.1

Here is my delima, I have a version newwer than 1.1. I have verion 2.0 or higher. I know this because my ATi video card drivers require this. (As well as looking in my past installs for Microsoft update it lists me installing 2.0).

Is there a way around this error to make it install anyways?

When I try to see what commands the installer has by doing
"Allegiance Setup.exe" /?
It doesn't show a list of commands, it just trys to install with me getting the same install error.

I am now doing a repair install for my .net framework to see if that fixes it.

It didn't help. I still get the requires .net 1.1

.net framework 2.0 isn't downward compatible. You have to install .net framework 1.1, too. Both run fine side by side. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />
