Hmm ... Those don't look like real IP'ss adresses .... your PC is on a clas A network?!
The root problem is, most likely, that a router upstream from you isn't allowing ports 2300-2400.
Since I can't make sense of your network stack can you run this command ...
'tracert
www.alleg.net'
I am currious what hope '1' and hop '2' are... I think you will need to configure the router listed at hop 1 to allow ports 2300-2400.
You know enough to post the IP's ... but those just don't look right ...

OK! I was a bit lazy.
Did more checking. I do not have a router. Forgot I had my sons computer attached via a network card on a twisted pair cable. Also the other adapter addresses are virtual. The All in Wonder ATI card creates them for the TV Adapter and the dialup modem. I don't remember changing anything since I played last but he may have. Here is the results from the tracert you requested:

If your original post was right, then none of those ethernet adapters are even being used: You're using dialup.
If your dialup connection is giving you "Failed to connect to lobby" then your ISP is somehow blocking you from connecting.
I'd call them up and ask them to unblock the connection you are paying for. If they refuse, I'd seriously consider changing dialup ISPs... it's bad enough that it's slower than broadband, but if they're going to restrict your ports too? Bu-bye.

YO!
I called my ISP(Netzero). They claim they are not blocking anything. They asked me did I have parental controls. I said no. They asked what spyblocking software I had. I told them Ad Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy. They liked the Ad Aware but did not like Spybot. I asked them if the norton antivirus they sent with there disk could block ports and they said no. But they did say norton security packages can. I asked them if system works was on that list. They said yes. I told them I had removed it but could it have left some ports blocked when I removed it. They said no. I was about to off everything on my computer that even thought about connecting to the internet and saw three versions of allegiance in the add and remove program list. Ah? Can previous versions conflict with the newest version>???? The list shows Allegiance, Freeallegiance, Freeallegiance Zone Beta. The explorer shows an Allegiance directory and a AllegianceShadow directory. Should I remove all and start over?????
Thanks for any help you guys can give.
