Hey just trying to log in and get the "unable to validate allegiance installation" message. Hadn't been any changes, but forced a ASGS update anyway. Still an error. Something down somewhere or what?
D.
Update: Console says file Allegiance.exe has invalid signature. Just for kicks I moved allegiance.exe, and asgs then contiued, up to the point when allegiance.exe wouldn't start. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Oh for cripes sake. ASGS STILL downloading allegiance.exe and other files to the ASGS folder???? /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> Had that problem months ago along with many other people. Is it that hard to put it in the allegiance folder instead?

Is it that hard to put ASGS in the allegiance folder where it belongs?
-or-
Is it that hard to
check the forums for an already existing post before creating a new one?

I DID look at other post first. Just didn't read past the first half page or so. Saw your response was to force ASGS update, which is why I specified I did that first. Then you were talking about an abnormal installation and I figured I must have a different problem. Mine was working fine till then.
I did have a reason for not wanting the ASGS in my allegiance folder, though it doesn't matter as much as it did before. That asgs wasn't originally needed in allegiance folder was reason enough not to just throw it in there and change is always bad. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> The only time it's ever been an issue are the couple times now that allegiance.exe and few other files were stuck in the wrong place.
This is the same problem that showed up months ago after a allegiance.exe update. Just surprised it's still that way when I'd think it'd be easy and less problematic to send them directly to the allegiance directory. It's not like I was the only one either.
