Would it be a good idea or possible to make pulse probes last 10 seconds rather than 5 seconds they currently last. 5 seconds is good for quickly finding them, but them damn stealths move so fast by the time uve boosted there, they are normally gone. I dont know if its a good idea or a bad idea..but its open for discussion.

5 seconds gives the SF a chance to escape if spotted by an int, 10 seconds would result in a dead SF every single time. You can work out for yourself why this is very unlikely to be changed.

so how about splitting the difference and going with 7.5 seconds?

Hmm, didn't we have a thread about this in the other forums (I suppose we did, everything was in that forum hehe)?
Still, I don't know about the real merit to longer pulse probes, I'm leaning towards too much of a bonus even splitting the difference at 7.5 seconds. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
