0712 is acceptable, but you can get the latest client here easily enoughapathos wrote:QUOTE (apathos @ Jul 18 2006, 10:44 AM) do we need 7/15, or is 7/12 acceptable?
(the only difference between the two is a very small change to the chat
logging code)

Does ASGS use the executable in the Freeallegiance folder or whichever one it finds first?
I loose my motivation to help out more and more each day to drama like this. Which is why I am mostly /meh on this point. I will continue to play as I always have, with the morals I have been rasied with and if this community finds they don't like myself and others like me who just enjoy playing the game with their friends on TS or squadies, then they can ban us and my Warhammer account, Girlfriend, and IRL activities will get a lot more attention and will thank them.

ASGS in beta mode will launch the executable indicated by the 1.1 registry keys.DrBeginner wrote:QUOTE (DrBeginner @ Jul 19 2006, 12:20 PM) Does ASGS use the executable in the Freeallegiance folder or whichever one it finds first?
That should be the executable installed by the beta installer.
Pook has a new beta installer bundle in the downloads section.
But if you already installed that you can just get the latest client and replace
the one installed by the beta installer. That will require that you remember
where the beta installer installed Allegiance.
Just to be clear, DO NOT replace the allegiance.exe in the folder where
'regular' allegiance is installed.
Since the new beta bundles is only slightly larger than the executable it is probably
easiest to just get the new bundle.

It sorts by your team and the other team is in a jumbled mess. That's what I saw.

Yep I saw the same. One team is sorted fine, the other is not. We'll take a look at it.DrBeginner wrote:QUOTE (DrBeginner @ Jul 19 2006, 11:32 PM) It sorts by your team and the other team is in a jumbled mess. That's what I saw.

I was one of the ones who originally had sound issues. I do not now. After tweaking my volume settings by type I now have sound. My gun fire is soft, but everyone around me is loader. I first thought I had lost my gun sounds, but after cranking up the surround sound, it was there.
Anyone else who thinks they have lost sounds. Crank the volume up and its there.
