Please merge all ftx threads into this one once the problem is resolved or shelved please. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I'll start tracking things down now, also I'm setting up a seperate connection without a router. /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

Please include the following in your post;

Ever Connect? Y/N answer would be handy, if you notice any issues with specific situations like you can always connect on Tuesday but not on Thursday... anything will help.

ISP/Plan? The company that provides your internet service and the up/down speeds of your plan.

DN Comparison? Your ping for the main DN server.

If you can connect but ever experience frequent drops or if you notice lag and how much, plus how many were in the game at the time. All that will help too. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Hey, I think I've got what qualifies as the most bizarre FTX problem, but it may serve to shed some light on the problem.

Situation: Raziel@RT and I play at my apartment using dxport. I connect with ports 2302-2311, he connects with ports 2312-2321. I can connect to FTX consistently, albeit with a bit of lag. He can't connect at all.

Explain THAT one.

Kewl, thanks for posting that. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Yea, that's the weirdest situation so far, and of course I have no clue on that highly technical weirdness. /wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wacko:" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />

Still hopefully a techie like being will be summoned to this thread for possible feedback, solving your guy's weird problem will potentially help a lot.

I use to be able to connect to FTX servers, but it crashed once and ever since I haven't been able too. My connection to DN is stellar. My router is a microsoft router, my cable company is comcast.

Hmm, the more and more I think about it, most of the hassle is router based possibly on my end. We'll know for sure as I'm getting another seperate isp solely for the servers which won't be behind a router. 3 weeks away or so.

Comcast is interesting though, many people that were having problems were on comcast, could just be random issue though.

I'm almost certain that is the issue.

I am also on a Comcast connection, so Raz is as well.
