Someone by the name of Monkage helped beta test Wed June 28th and was experiencing sound issues. Please PM me. We'd like to see if we can fix the problem.

p.s. I will say this again. If people don't try the beta they risk NOT being able to play when the beta goes live if something does not work for them. This is your chance to notify us of the problem BEFORE release. It is unlikley a problem that only effects a subset of people will get a fix in less than a few months time. So don't get caught with your pants down, help test for your sake.

I also was testing that evening and experienced sound problems (I replied in the oldforums with specific details). Not sure if the testing schedule has changed but I still try every Wednesday?
I fly with Monkage a lot so I'll let him know to contact you.

If you both will be around tonight (~9pm) I will try and be there and get a game going.
Get the new FAZ_MonSounds.zip. I'd like to know sooner than later if that is going
to fix the problem. At this point it is a bit more than a stab in the dark but still a stab
and is something pretty easy to test.

Get the replacement sound files .zip in the above post. It is fairly small.
Unzip in your regular alleg artwork folder. It won't effect (as in cause
problems) with your regular alleg.

Yes, only for donators. So the correct solution now reads:
My Controls -> Options -> Make a Donation -> Donate $20 - $100 (or more) -> Await Confirmation -> Personal Profile -> Change Display Name
