Given giga's econ, I don't think the cost is a sufficient nerf.
There are lots of ways to nerf patties, but I think the thing that makes them so uber now is the scale and the large fuel capacity. Tweak those and they'll probably still be useful without being uber.

IIRC Noir said there were some changes coming for patties, less responsive boosting / lower fuel capacity, bigger hitboxes, smaller loadout options (removing probes maybe)... not sure if those are correct, though they seem familiar.

I seriously doubt Noir would remove Patties' ability to drop probes...apparently he loves using Patties for probing because he can defend himself if need be.

I think if we had luxy patties, they'd have to cost at least 100 a piece, but could have:

Can carry 1 hunter per rack..... or three other kinds of missiles...
More hull.... fig hull?
Better Scan.... of course
But.... can drop one prox, or two probes.....
And the gunmounts are aligned into one....

I was thinking nerf carriers instead. Either make them easier to kill, with research up to present levels, or make the ability to rip to them a 2nd level tech, with them acting as re-supply ships in there basic form.
