Thanks for all the info. Just when I think there is no more topics that can be possibly analyzed tactically, you surprise me with more and more replies. It is all good and relevant information.

HMS Spidey is the master of reading the team's players and adjusting his game. Throwing a sacrificial base or miner in a sector so everyone mindlessly whored as he dominates the map is one of his tried and true tactics for example. It especially works well against weaker commanders who have trouble getting their teams to listen.

Frankly many weaker commanders depend to much on getting their team to perform like a well trained dog troop and when they don't tend to blame the team for it. It is highly demotivating to be bitched at and blamed for every lose.

A firm hand ala Shiz or Ozzy is fine but a bitching boot happy commander is no fun to play under and trends to pull a weaker team and an opposition motivated by long held grudges.

MrC doesn't like flying for me

Flying for me was fun for people with a clue, less fun for those without. And for those without, it wasn't a big deal because they had the opportunity to join the other team fairly quickly.

I've been booted tbs but never by either Shiz or Ozzy. It is probably somewhere around a dozen times and they ran the gambit of revenge boot, bad boot, taking a whiz afk boot, to telling a joke
when I should have been flying boot.

I don't dislike flying for you FBD, and not sure why you would think that
