I'll be damned... they do have full hitpoints. I must have just looked at the belters one and assumed all the rest are similarily nerfed. Mea Culpa!

Noobs don't count spidey. I have personally seen many a pilot pod hordes of FBs without so much as a scratch, and Adv Figs without much more difficulty. Even I've taken more than two Adv Figs in a fight and won.

Anyway their ability to fight is not the point, on a FB run they shouldn't be dogfighting anyway. However if you think they should be nerfed in terms of scale and speed, then good.

IMO, FBs have no business carrying turrets, nor does the idea make any sense to me.

If they can out dogfight most ships then they can be used like heavy ints. Fully loaded FBs come in pod all the defenders and then kill the base.

Try turret whoring in a maxed out TF fig bee.

stangs have med shield, med hull and a @#(! ton more of it. They also have a front mounted mini ac turret with a full ac turret on back. way more fuel, faster cruising speed, but no mines. spidey and me were just $#@!ing around and killing a bunch of voobs.

PT Bombers are similar in terms of swarm anti-base tactics, but they fly and fight quite differently. Their cost per ship in CC makes it difficult for anyone to learn to fly them, so they are rarely used, especially outside of their figbee-like role. Suggestions to fix this include making them free and the missiles costly, or making a free, non-torpedo-carrying variant. This is not presently considered a priority, AFAIK.
