Then just go recruit some more people from the area.

I'm happy for those who have to deal with lag for years finally getting their low lag times. Thanks Wob for the server

Already on it - the Day of Defeat / Steam communities I play with here are proving a rich recruitment ground. I'm getting at least one new inquiry a day, mostly thanks to my carrying Sp4wn's Allegiance Gaming Clan tag ("Hey Croc - what's AGC?"). I'm sure other local players are doing the same. In fact, *points to the thread on community growth*, the new server could be a perfect place for people to test some of those marketing ideas etc. Does FAO have a community service rep? Or standard ads/banners we can put around the place? I actually get uncomfortable doing anything more than pointing people to our site because I don't want to speak for the org when I'm really just a player who's doing some volunteer stuff that's seen as a bit of a cute sideline Alleg thing by most people, and not an @alleg or anything.

About 10 of us tested it earlier and the euro/us players despite the high pings said it's playable and one euro even said it was more stable than planet .. so that's a positive!
Of course the aim is to get more AU/NZ/Asian players.

Perhaps a map with country names? i always thought something with a name "Singapore" had to be in Europe.

and i just assumed it from the massive ping Immz had.
LOL @ 200 ping being called "Unplayable"

I´d laugh to anyone who calls 200-300 unplayable. With 300 ms I can aim almost like el-weedo
