Comms could also start not accepting vets if they try to stack. Fair play goes both ways after all and getting stacked, while not as annoying as getting stacked against, is still ruining the game for everyone but the n00bwhoring stackerfolk itself.

Autoaccept on!

Everyone gets to play!

If you end up with a crappy team it's probably because you suck at commanding and noone likes you (so stop commanding!)

Not true. That does happen, but usually not. A comm with less experience (or less rep) has a chance IF the teams are even. When the "better" comm (and I use that word loosely, more in the vein of "has a better rep") turns on autoaccept, as happened in a game I was in last night, the stackers wait to join that team and ONLY newbs join the other team (and the occasional anti-stacker, which is rare). If the comm with a lesser rep doesn't accept newbs, he gets blasted. If he does, he looses and his rep takes yet another hit.

Let's say you are a great comm, but you don't have a rep. How the hell are you going to get a rep if the other comm turns on autoaccept? I don't care how good your comming skills are, if you have a disproportionate number of newbs on your team, you will loose. You can have five ints fly in to attack an enemy miner and two decent scout pilots (perhaps even one) can pod them all and the miner never get interrupted (trust me, I've watched it happen). YOu can have five nans on YOUR miner and one int kills it.

What's sad is that it is prominent members of this community abusing their rep and using autoaccept to knowingly stack. They then proceed to whore for over an hour before buying end game tech. I thought we had a movement attempting to prevent stacking, I guess I was wrong.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

Anyway on the thread of accepting newbies... a thought ... newbiies learn how comms operate and play, therefore can make very strong future team members... or dangerous opponants..

comprehension reached....

if noobs wish to comm, make a side game / sep server w/e...

seen it, been there, witnessed it.... nooobs shouldn't comm main games,,..

one tried... a (2) he conceeded in meer minutes 2x's. ACS may at some point prove him worthy.

(psst Spidey... paragraphed enough? lol )

The Noobie Commandments of Allegiance:

1. Thou Shalt accept noobs.

2. Thou Shalt help noobs and noobs will help thou.

3. Thou Shalt not accept vets if the other team has (Insert 60 BC curse word) players.

4. Thou that Shalt guide noobs thou will see that noobs will say thou is their favorite player for Thou's helpfulness.

5. Thou Shalt not judge any thing that looks like a noob a noob...thou shalt watch thou's noobs gameplay.

Noobs are good players when given a backbone. If you tell noobs no your too sucky or don't answer noobs when they ask you "How To" they'll remain noobish and it's technically your fault not telling. Every one of us were complete noobs so give noobs respect they deserve.
