I just love it how wonderfully the whole concept of an actual Squad League is going down the tubes. Makes me wonder whether the initial idea of "freeze rosters at the start of league season" wasn't a good thing after all.

Stagnant rosters for months on end would be a bad idea. Besides don't you have a furry convention to go to?

What the hell is he talking about? We've got a $#@!ing squad league, the squads are playing against each other in a league! What more could you want?

The idea wasn't to force a recruitment halt per se, just not allow people to play in league games until they've been in a squad for some amount of time. As in, more than a $#@!ing day.

For the league to actually be squad against squad, rather than "whoever has the relevant tag slapped on for 6 hours in order to participate in the selected match-up".

Deng, nobody (that I know of) has added someone then dropped them just for one SG.

Yes, XT added Dorj shortly before the SysX game.

XT will keep Dorj until he burns out or dies or whatever. He's in for good as far as we are concerned. It wasn't a merc or recruiting newbs in order to meet minimum numbers, he is a new member of the squad and was available to play a SG.

Any restriction would mean new people also couldn't play in SGs during the league, which is a nice $#@!-you to the newbs who care enough to go through CDT and get tagged.

Actually Dorjan joined XT on the 14th which was four days before the squad game if you want to get all technical. Now why don't you go enjoy a good couch fire with you in it. kthxbye$#@!you

I'd like to say that Deng, you guys took two of SFs best not so long ago so kindly STFU as that caused a massive stur in our pot at the time, not only that; a lot of great SF pilots are now in RT so I'd kindly ask you to back off before this turns into a mud slinging contest for bruised egos.

TBH I didn't think i'd make much of a difference in the game and tbh I think XT would've won without me anyway.

Oh come on don't try to justify it. There is no rules about it because it isn't abused. Hell SysX wanted to be beaten if you would believe their pillow talk.

Personally, I'd formulate it something like "you first become eligible for league play 2 league games after joining the squad". That's not a terribly horrible restriction for new recruits that are joining a squad to stay, but it does discourage (admittedly hypothetical) squad-hopping for league-related reasons (as you'd put yourself out of commision for a month).
