I really meant, only the first 2 megs of the file are uploaded. The video is incomplete.

I will correct that. With Vista, I have not been able to view the video. Improper codec or something...

Avalanche has contributed a new reticule to the site. It is called "The Dot". It is #52 in the Old Style section of the reticules.

Mesial,
Could you put together a full HiRes install pack? I'm lazy and don't want to dl each one. Besides I think some people would love a complete pack.
Keep up the great work!!!
Thx,
LK

I'd suggest a 2 or 3 part install -
Bases, Caps and Ships.
People may want Hi Res on the big stuff but not the small stuff.
I'd also say wait until the MS treasure trove has been sorted through properly and anything useful ripped out and assimilated.

The only problem that I am having with writing a full high res install is getting the radio buttons to work.
For example... let's say your installing the "full res pack" and you do not want to install the planets and nebula (let's say you don't use them be it is too taxing on your computer's graphics) and you get to the part that allows you to choose what to install, and you uncheck the planets and nebula.... It still installs it.
The language that I use to create the installers is NSIS and it has proved to be the most difficult and time consuming language to learn. I promise, I'll get back on it this weekend and see where it takes me. Sometimes just stepping back for a bit clears the mind and finds the answers.

You could try
http://www.installjammer.com its free not sure how easier it is though. I know Nullsoft's is the best open source installer.
Edit: oh and also
http://www.jrsoftware.org/isinfo.php inno installer.

How about:
Torrent
Just select the files you want to download
Run script that installs everything that it finds in a selected folder

If anyone knows NSIS language, you can help me sort my radio button issue out in my NSIS forum:

Also, I have added a Donations page to help defray the cost of running my server if anyone is so inclinded to help.

Lord, I didn't really like installjammer when I looked at it a while ago, and i'm not interested in learning a new install language at this point.
Rama, I've never used torrents before and I really don't want to take that route.
I will resolve this issue at some point.
