GG, but we shoulda won that after being gifted with the exp rock advantage. We still had a shot at the win after it built, but it was looking pretty dire for SysX before their Exp built. How did it build? I'd say it was due to questionable com decisions and pilot fail. Masta put the damn op 10k from the low aleph. 10 $#@!ing k. I understand why, but it was a defensive decision and in hindsight it was wrong. It allowed SysX to run a miner forward because we couldn't chase it down. That didn't stop us from trying to catch it, though, and it ended up delaying our response to the exp con push. We still should have killed the con before it built, but a lot of our pilots chose to float their pods back to the op instead of pk'ing on the con. That fail was far greater than the com fail, imo, even if it didn't make a difference.

The biggest questionable decisions were getting a sup before hvy ints, followed up by going galvs/fb's for the endgame, imo. Yes, we could have flown better, but it was ultimately kb that killed us. Masta did not factor it in enough. With all of us on miner-o all game, SysX's KB got ridiculously high. If we had gone htt's that might have changed in our favor, but we went galvs/fb's instead and kept feeding it.

Regardless, it was a fun game. I love epic 2+ hour games, and when some of our guys complained about how long it took, I just laughed to myself. My only regret is that the endgame wasn't an htt-fest. Sup and Tac endgames are pretty boring, comparatively.

Congrats SysX. I'm glad to see Drizzo's comming from previous games didn't cost SysX enough to knock them out early. All he had to do was copy Spidey's rix exp/sbs strat from last week! GJ on that, driz. You picked a good time to finally win one =)

masta I overheard dome talking about you bring the new night and that you're a nazi with the comm seat, ryujin mentioned he may make a new squad with dome as his mistress. thoughts?
