you realize that just cause a philosophy exists does not make it absolutely correct right? and just cause it is incorrect does not mean it is useless in society right? ever heard of plato?

i'm not gonna discuss this further at least until i finish this book.

Fiction wise a favourite for me: "Black Easter" (James Blish?) Don't do mainstream or books that lead to mental constipation through intellectual indigestion along the way (James Joyce, for instance)
Good old Space opera: The Witches of Karres, James H. Schmitz
The "Bolo" series of military fiction, Keith Laumer.
As a themed compendium "From Here to Infinity" editor Martin Harry Greenberg. (Out of print, unfortunately. The cat gave birth on my copy)
