Well I'm not sure how this turned into a debate of Community Colleges instead of me owning Fed as it should be but it all depends where you want to end up.
I'd be shocked if anyone at my university at the undergrad level had come from a community college - but if you prefer someplace else then it's not a big deal. These days it's often cheaper to go to a "better" university than an average one it seems.
p.s. paging fed! This thread had such promise too...

We all play a 12 year old video game and chat about it on the internet. I think that we should consider the state of our glass house before throwing the stone of calling someone sad.
