Installer is almost ready to deploy...

What needs to be done:
Finish the $#@!ing readme on wiki?Giving installer a version number. (this is pretty easy)Keep support of additional DLCs?
Like texture packs, custom keymaps, whatever. Where to host them?

For the additional DLCs, why not host them on GPZ? You're already hosting the GB boards.

Now lets just pray and hope Orion doesn't get his wish to use MSI format for CSS/R6 . . . .
It's not like it's just a whim, we're going to use that.. it's just a fact. I warned PKK way ahead of time, before he even started on this little misadventure.

ReadMe on wiki changed to what the ZLs (who have responded) have said they want to be put in for their section.

Usually though, "skill" is used to covertly mean "match the game exactly to my level of competence." Anyone who is at all worse than me should fail utterly (and humorously!) and anyone better is clearly too caught up in the game and their opinions shouldn't count.

Where is that installer? Community needs it now and not in two weeks™...

Btw, people request an improved installer since a few months (years), even longer than I suggested starting this project.

Show results and stop complaining. :glare:

There's a broken link in the readme. training.alleg.net is "Oops. Google Chrome could not find this page"

I'm just saying how it's going to be.. your installer will probably be obsolete in a few months, and instead of you helping give us a head start by using the technology that has already been decided on, we'll have to start from scratch with the new installer.

Worked like a charm.
