Because even mediocre coms have their time and place. It usually is when they are playing against coms of the same skill level/rep. You don't put a mediocre com up against a great com, you put them up against like skill level commanders.

Which is why rysj has such issues I think. He seems to believe he's about two levels up from where he really is.

why does it seem the people who complain about commanders the most seem not to command themselves? im not saying those same people cant command, most like jucktco are very good commander, he seems to choose just not to command.

I was told people dont comm because it's not fun and it's a thankless job.

However, I seem to enjoy comming against other people in side games.

Commanding is funny Elzam the problem is sometimes ppl bitching at you coz they want "this or that cheesy toy" instead of concentrating at finishing the game(where it gets rather annoying), and frustating when you accomplish a good job at the chair(I´d say you command better than you usually can do) and the team gives you epich phails at simple concepts.
