Er... I don't think so. I didn't get upset, I just seem to be causing others to be.
What I meant is that
this post reads like he's really bitter and sarcastic, feels the US gets unfairly blamed and want's to see the EU drink from the same toilet for a change.
This thread just seems to be turning into flamebait.

No, the U.S. contributes a huge amount towards peacekeeping that benefits "the West". Britain has helped the most as far as European contributions. The rest of the EU can tow the line a little more once in a while.

Why exactly do any of the western countries need to tow the line? Let others destroy themselves... just entices us to develop alternative fuels faster... via market action.

Anyone who calls out the UK military can go $#@! themselves.
We are microscopic in personnel size compared to our counterparts and have thrown our entire, and i mean entire personnel military force at the disposal of where it is requested.
We only have 3 Royal Marine commando's and we have 2 out in afghan now(one of which my younger brother is serving in) while one is at home recouping from taking a serious beating while holding down an area no other force has been able to until then.
Thats not to mention the para's, scots guards, RAF and standard army who are out there right now.
If we had a larger country with more people then I could guarantee we would have more force out, we are not exactly the type who shy away from a fight, much to our own $#@!ing stupidity, but hey we like to show our tea making skills off

That was not aimed at anyone in particular MrC, you know me well enough that I would PM you personally if I had an issue with something you posted.
I just dont like the apparent bandwagon of people who think its ok for the US to have the UK help them but get on their high horse if they have to jump in and help us.
