The ASGS-bypassing flaw is in shared source Allegiance.voobscout wrote:QUOTE (voobscout @ Sep 18 2010, 03:43 PM) The question is immaterial. The intent of a specific penetration tester is irrelevant, since any effort in this direction ultimately contributes to security. Malevolent developer is simply less likely to contribute a patch to discovered vulnerability, arguably this kind of situation is even more beneficial, since the legit staff would be forced to look closer into the issue and are likely to discover additional holes to fix along the way.
ASGS hacked?

And if so, is this true? Have people been modding to use a lead indicator?
Picool!
It's not fresh news that the lead indicator cheat has been used for years by very well known pilots here.
That's why the whole FPS and stats/ranks aspect of Allegiance has always been meaningless for me (and should stay that way).
You didn't really think they were that good ?!

you do understand that the lead indicator is not 100% accurate and you will always have superior aim by learning to track bullet trails and impacts, yes?
You realize, that there is zero way to track bullet trails and impacts, when the ship you are shooting at (and hitting) is so far back its off your screen?
People have been cheating here for years, it has been well known, and no one has done anything about it. No one has been banned, no exploits fixed, no name and shame.

lol lead indicators are so @#(!ty, I don't use it on lxy figs/ints or hvy scouts. if you practice watching your bullets you'll find you'll get very good at aiming very fast.
