I have no idea whether a map like this has been tried before, but it would be interesting to see how it plays out.

Seems like a recipe to camp the hell out of the middle aleph until Caps and/or Advanced tech comes up to be honest, which doesn't (to me) sound like a particularly fun game....

Cool, but why the weird starting points if I may ask? how do you maintain balance with an asymetrical map? (although granted there is one such map in the current live version so apparently it is acceptable). But yeah, we need some more decent small maps.

Its actually quite symmetrical, you just can't tell by looking at it.

yeah I see it is symetrical like sunstone and the old pentagram was I noiced that after the post it was a 'two loop' concept.

Just searching through the maps on the wiki (looking for maps like that one)... several of the standard maps like pinwheel, and many of the itterations and small/large versions are missing. Also, I think that some of the custom maps listed may have been deleted from the current version, though I am not sure any on the current version are not listed there, but we need to double check that as well. I will make a list I think.

There is a limit to how many maps a server can host, so that's why they're not all on "the current version" of the in-game map list. At least I think that's what you were talking about.

lol, no I meant the wiki here: http://www.freeallegiance.org/FAW/index.php/Maps#See_also should be updated to match the current maps used in the game. The wiki has some custom maps no longer used listed and is missing a lot the standard map like pinwheel, single loop small, and its small and large multi-team itterations ect. That was all I meant. I don;t do wiki stuff, but if sombody wanted to contribute that was something I noticed that needs work.

Hey, I wasn't suggesting my map was any good and should actually be in the map pack. I'm just throwing something I've never seen before out there, and it took me all of 2 minutes to make. By all means, don't include it.
