Awesome models and the textures, both scales and metal, are really refreshing.
If someone asked me I'd say the combination of green scales and gray metal would suck but it really works... I'd love to see these in game. It would be great if it looked like an animal at a distance and the metallic parts would make it's true nature apparent at short range.

The flat shape of the scout and the small eye/cockpit made me think the Dregkhlar probably pilot the ship in a prone position, on their bellies... seems to fit in with their speed perk.

I agree with D3D that the last one's spikes need tweaking.
If it's fighter, putting the spikes under the wings or something like that could make them look like missiles.
Otherwise, the spikes need more curvature.
For an interceptor, I would really like to see visible gunmounts, like on the IC int.

Another suggestion:
Consider the scale of the ships when making the textures.
The size of the scales on the skin hints at the scale of the ship, (no pun intended, honestly).
The larger the ship, the denser the scales should be. I recommend not to finalize the textures until the sizes of the ships have been decided.

Keep up the good work!

I like the top left one a lot.

If you recolored the top left one a bit to something darker, maybe purple, it would make a good stealth fighter design.

I like the bottom right design for a fighter.

How would it look if you made the spikes curved inward a little?

This made me think... how about conical spiral antenna shaped gunmounts for the stealth fighter?
Like a cork screw but tapered into a conus, a little like the spike on the Rix Corvette.

Here's a conical helical antenna:

The bottom right needs a larger cockpit, probably the same outfit as the top left.

Keep up the GREAT work!!!

Quiz, how is this going on?

The current Dreg stuff is clumsily done, ugly and in some cases practically broken. The interceptor is especially badly needed.

What stage are you in? Is it just the hitbox that needs making now?

Well I'm the guy working with Quiz on the lizards models...

Here is the first impression of the fighter. Quiz doesn't like the shovels but I do and don't want to change it :) .
The front and the top view are ok for me, but it looks a littke shallow and unspecacular from the side.

I hope that this one isn'n to elongate like the last one and fits the style better.

I'd like to start the skinning but I dont want to, until the model is approved of.

So please gimme feedback and recommend changes, because the model is fine for me and I personally like it so far.

Unless your hitbox models actually follow the contours of that dreg fighter, it looks painfully easy to hit.
