When a player joins
When a player leaves
If you know that you can tell what the imbalance between the teams was at time of joining which is relevant. A bail statistic might be interesting (team imbalance at time of leaving).
Maybe the more refined incarnations of the stack rating can take into account your own rank? But I guess the person looking at the stats can just look at your rank tooCaptainmorg wrote:QUOTE (Captainmorg @ Feb 6 2009, 08:14 AM) One other thing to consider, and it was touched on earlier. Could we rename the stacker rating to balance rating. It's not conducive to good game play to have a (5) join the team that is already down considerably, so why punish him for joining the stacked team. Whenever a pilot who has a skill level below the mean of the community joins the weaker team he does just as much harm as having a vet stack. This opens a whole new can of worms into the system, but worth at least some consideration.
I do agree, intent should be measured if possible. If you join a team that is down and the stack follows, surely that doesn't make you a stacker.
Yeah, like this newbie, badp. He's nice enough, but he wants to antistack while he is only a 5. I always try to tell him to join the other team instead, but he doesn't listenCaptainmorg wrote:QUOTE (Captainmorg @ Feb 6 2009, 03:14 PM) One other thing to consider, and it was touched on earlier.
