I would like to make a counter point. I was anti-stacking on the main game around 12:30 est. The comm was doing a good job, except he gave a bomber to the wrong guy who launched and charged the enemy op with no nans.Didn't give me a chance to launch and catch up to him,he was dead before I even got close. It's these kind of situations that encorages people to stack.

In the same vein. I had to mutiny a com today. As Belters, he bought an opening sup con, along with a tp. The sup walked and planted, but he didn't buy anything else. Then when the sup planeted and with much yelling, he then upped the gar. At this point I mutinied and took com. Several boots later, and a long hour and a half worth's of play, hvy scouts and such, we did win.

Bad commanding though is no exscuse for not taking noobs. I took noobs all game as they asked, and I like to think they had fun turreting the scouts (even though they shouldn't have) and flying in circles. I did boot 3 or 4 players who were rank 6-9, and these are the ones I really can't stand. The ones who think they know things, talk back, and in general are morons. Those are the ones that I stack against.

Well, its take a couple of weeks, but I want to appologize for not taking the noob. It wasn't intentional but reading the back chat could have prevented it. Sorry for the confusion. BTW, whats the mod/skin that lets you scroll through previous chats? Guitarism, thanks for highlighting a problem.

Our commanders need to become noob-friendly like right now, or this community will cease to grow.

Nope. noobs need to toughen up, suck it up and realize that they really don't know squat...
Face it, if they want to play, they need to learn, to learn takes time, and study, something that most, in todays world, can not accept...
They are already protected enough as a #..after they have played enough to loose that # then they are fair game...

Hell I'm surprised that in 2 years or so of playing I've only been booted once...

I still don't claim to know enough to comm..yet...scares the F out of me in fact...
I'll stick to my scout where I feel comfy..Its a thankless job (mostly) but someone needs to do it...

The number will disapear within a couple hours of playing. It takes a couple months to learn the game. In the mean time, these new guys are being expected to fly like experts and when they obviously can't, they get booted and don't come back.

Perhaps we can have the novice ranks last for a determined amount of time to allow people trying the game out a little more protection from our overly aggressive & demanding comms?

More like a couple of months and a few years...

If you see a # get booted let BV know about it...

This isnt a instant gratification ( the I can win level 1 after the boss ) type of game...it really that simple..

Some folks (obviously) don't get it....

Don't forget to play the training levels.. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
