Here is a link to the faction win statistics list.
From here you can see that the most played faction is the Iron Coalition, followed by Belters.
Newbies and Phoenix
Yeah, but you must understand that I am speaking from my personal perspective of things (Which is probably not as extensive as others). Maybe im just coming on at bad times.
By the way, thanks for the stats.

He funny. I spend most of the time naning stuff and frankly I like it. Even when I flew for a vet (i think it was serb) who was playing 'nix (trying some sort of bomber rush followed by an SY which faild miserably. He was probably craving to go back to his noob times...) I rarely saw anything else from the inside then a scout. And still they have some sort of appeal to me. It's a combination of good handeling (yes, I have a working roll button) and hull desing (sleek, hard to hit and with a nice bit of coolness factor). I hate that I can't friggin nan those bombers though /mad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad.gif" />, but I guess that's a ballance issue...
The real problem 'nix has is probably that it usualy acts like a noob magnet. To me it seems one of the most complex factions to play right. You need a lot of miner def to stay ahead, and your bombers get mowed down if you find youself in a camp, so you'll need to be very carefull. But it could be a blast to play if you have a team that's up to it...

During that game I saw three newbs follow a bomber to their home. I asked (shouting) on team chat what they were up to. The scouits claim to be probing. Next thing I see is six pods floating in their home. I can only surmise that it was a failed nan-run. *facepalmhead$#@!ARRRRHK*Virex wrote:QUOTE (Virex @ Apr 9 2008, 03:35 PM) He funny. That game wasn't pretty.

Granary Sergeant Baker - Special Bread Service (Wurf - 13th Oct 2011)
Not to hurt anybody's feelings, but I find it odd when people say they like the way the Nix-ships look.
To me they are a big step back from the original MS factions, and actually look very crude. Lack of shading or something like that... also all the ships look pretty much the same. Me no likee...

<bp|> Maybe when I grow up I can be a troll like PsycH
<bp|> or an obsessive compulsive paladin of law like Adept
Adept you are kinda right. The pheonix skins don't have shading detail baked/drawn like a lot of the MS ones do. I suspect the reason for this is that the maker of the Pheonix models intended them for a more robust graphics engine that would handle the shading properly.

I remember seeing something about that as well Adaven. The effect is a bit jarring, unfortunately.Adaven wrote:QUOTE (Adaven @ Apr 9 2008, 08:33 PM) Adept you are kinda right.
