Well, yeah, not really worth the effort.

Let's bring this mpogd thing to the next level. :-}

Moses: and they're currently running a push (another "challenge to community") to improve the average, so pretty much all the positive reviews posted after this are pretty much fake.

I mean -- Allegiance looks better, and that says a lot.

Well, it just might be possible they've managed to mobilise 0.1% of their player base.

Looks like we're going to have another month of this to come. Considering the amount of newbies we've got, it's not such a bad prospect after all, but I wonder who we'll be fighting next month.

I'd say 4000+ votes for Allegiance without a single proxy is a no biggie, which would put us in to the top league any given month.

When they do win, lets not got there and be indignant. I'm sure the intelligent people have all gotten the gist already.

They are 1000+ votes ahead right now. I am no longer sure I should turn on the machine.

EDIT :

I have to say, I $#@!ING TOLD YA SO.

Oh yeah, I have a lot of research to do related to my project. I'll vote when I'm done with it.

ImmZ, I am not sure we need to win this. We can try again in march, or at least fake the attempt. I think you are unable to vote for your game for a year after you won first place. You can stay on second spot all the time.

does anyone else here have a internet connection that has its IP address dynamically assigned to it?
immz could give you the script i wrote for him... (i could give you mine, but he had to tweak it a little, so his modified version may work better)

vote count
vote rate
predicted votes

yeah, we knew it was coming, but it was nice not to have to vote more than once a day for a few days.

and wizz did keep to his word, he wouldn't proxy/dynamic ip vote for 2 days, (then he would continue)

1 Entropia Universe 9999 20.99%
2 Allegiance 8994 18.88%

also note, the vote rate is an under estimate because yesterday i took the count at 4pm so its only had 20 hours for votes to change, though i don't think it really matters though, they are moving fast

This teaches our community a big lesson.

Here at Allegiance cheaters are shown the door very, very quickly. So when it came to cheating we found ourselves unprepared.

Looks like things work differently in Entropia, and cheaters are actually given a lot of reputations and congratulations.

As we can see, their approach worked best.

Good job, Entropia. Keep up the great work.

Edit: What an idiot. I forgot:

My humble opinion is that the majority of entropia forum doesn't even realise what is going on. They keep on posting bumps with blinds in their eyes dismissing most of the information available, thus it is going to be of no use other than personal amusement to go and preach them about moral behaviour (pre-emptive comment)

As to who should get that prize they've been collecting, I'm going to lurk around for a while to see if it goes to where it should.

In the end, my 42 votes will calculate to about 0.5 percent of the total votes given to allegiance. I feel lke I made a difference.
