In starcraft 2 there is a tactic called a "timing push"

Essentially you attack right after a tech that gives you an advantage has finished. There are many end game attacks that can be employed by equipping your team with mini 3 while they still have mini 2 or other examples allowing that one critical attack to succeed. I do this from time to time myself from the comm seat and if others did it we may see less of those mk 1 stalemates

 I've seen this done by you and Grav, and maybe two others. It is quite effective when done right. I think it's one of the things that made me propose this tweak

(well that, and belters getting mini 3 on their figs without an expansion)

It wasn't a mistake, I remember the game clearly. XT vs BS, and I rightfully predicted they would push their OP forward to next to our home sector, so they could screw with our mining via interceptors. Not being a noob, I understood that if I built a forward rip next to my OP it would act as a home rip, and since the OP was farther from the XT forward OP, it would be even more secure than a garrison rip was.

Even more than that, with a forward rip complete, there would be nothing stopping me from building a rip at the Garrison whenever I wanted, knowing that TP's pop out of the Garrison.

The game ended way before that, with XT's pilots furballing against BS's, destroying our constructor, all of our int pilots, pushing their op forward, and I planted my TP short so it wouldn't die to a flock of unimpeded interceptors.

The game was lost because @BS didn't have the whores to beat out @XT in an int furball. It had nothing to do with a "lack of IC home rip".

"Lulz MW didt build iC hom rip" works just fine though, which Night and his sheepsies are free to do.

It was neither silly nor a joke. Mw is just giving excuses for his failures

If there is one rule in the community you need to follow (apart from don't listen to MW in the first place) is don't apologise to him FOR ANY REASON you derp, adept.

Classic schoolboy error.
