Based on that picture it looks like what I'd imagine to be the remains of an anime abortion.

+1

Seriously, though, it looks very beautiful and well-made. :) It fits better with the "new" TF aesthetics, their new ship models.

To be honest I do miss the "old" TF a bit, though. Yes, the old models were much simpler and, well, uglier, but they had a sort of personality that I miss a bit (even including the ships). :P

But in any case, the graphics work is awesome. I definitely don't see how people can call it ugly. I mean, yes, obviously everyone has different tastes, but... Eh. It's just so obviously well-done.

I do. If one has the 256 max texture size on, then Allegiance does a really poor job of scaling the texture. I can post a pair of pictures showing the difference.

Well, some people seem not to like it based on the picture you posted.

I'm gonna start a solo game and take a look, since I haven't seen it in actual gameplay yet.

Fine adept, it's a beautifully constructed pustule in space which I have the urge to squish.

<Shrug> I have graphics set at 256 max, and it still looks pretty good to me now that I've seen it in game. The texture does look messed of course, but the overall design still looks very cool to me.

Exactly.. the playerbase will surely double as a result of the new tf base alone

Nice to see you being constructive finally Corsie

I wish we had more than one artist type person working on models :(
