If that's his main account I'll eat my hat

The community IS shrinking, it's not just "seasonal". It's measurable and exponential. The smaller the teams get, the less ppl want to play...the smaller the teams become...the less ppl want to play...the smaller the teams become... This trend is NOT reversing or even fluctuating, it is definately going in one direction only.

I happen to agree. Yet again though. We will just dicuss things to be done to help. None of it will be done. We will probably drop to 10 vs 10 for primetime. Then my guess is something drastic will finally happen to get players back.
At this point it almost seems like the "Cool" thing to do is just skip playing all together.
I do understand that gameplay isn't what it used to be. "I would play if the gameplay was better". If all those people that said that would just stfu and join and play. We would have so many more players playing and probably better gameplay.
I have a feeling that we will have to hit rock bottom again for people to realize that something drastic needs to happen.

This is what I'm sensing too.
As community members, I ask you, what should be done? When should it be done? How will it be done? Can we ensure that it IS done? What do we do if it isn't done?
If you guys really recognize a problem and wish to correct it, I think these are the questions we should answer first.

theTroy wrote:QUOTE (theTroy @ Oct 15 2010, 11:05 AM) it would be interesting to have an analysis as to WHY did alleg reduce its playerbase yet again.
Normal people don't play the same game 10 years straight.

Name just ONE "normal" Allegiance player! And if it wasn't for all those 10 year addicts, the game wouldn't be here at all.

Not really. His other persona left the game, NEVER to return again. Oh, wait.
The declining player base is certainly a valid topic, something that was brought up well over a year ago. Hence the "marketing" forum. That had some steam but was reliant on R6/CSS, both of which are still pending. Just like always - people are working towards the final goal. Community members are always encouraged to help out in whatever way possible

My contribution will take the from of helpful suggestions made to the people actually doing work, along with several expletives to motivate them to do the right thing.
I will also question your intelligence and raise the possibility that you're half goat.
You're welcome!

Who are these people and what is the final goal.
I'd love to help, how can I?
